Camp Dress Code
Camp Shenandoah Springs has determined a specific standard of dress for all attendees, including leaders. With all of us working together to uphold this standard, we hope to maintain a focus on what truly matters.
We appreciate your efforts to maintain this standard of dress for the duration of camp.

No revealing or excessively tight clothing

No offensive slogan or profanity on clothing or hats
-
Shorts should be appropriate length (finger tip)

No sagging pants or shorts
-
No text on back of shorts or pants
-
No spaghetti strap tops (all straps should be an inch or two finger tips wide)

No crop tops
-
Skirts/Dresses must be 3 inch above the knee or longer
-
No clothing revealing the stomach, bra, or back (Bralettes are acceptable under clothing if they are two finger tips wide)

Girls: One piece bathing suit or dark cover ups when swimming

Guys: Athletic shorts are not considered swimsuits. Shirts must be worn at all times, except when swimming

Everyone must wear t-shirt or cover-ups to and from the lake
What to Bring:

Bible and pen for notes and memories

Twin size linens (flat, fitted, pillow cases)

Pillow

Flashlight
-
Blanket and/or sleeping bag

Toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, and brush/comb

Bath towels/washcloths/hand towels

Beach towel or blanket recommended (for ground sitting at times)

1 sweatshirt

Rain gear or umbrella

Water bottle

underwear/undergarments

Shirts (weather appropriate) NO indecent words

Shorts/ pants (no short shorts) athletic is fine if modest

Shoes (at least 1 pair of closed toe, as it is required for certain activities)

Flip flops or crocs

any applicable medications(EpiPen, Benadryl, etc.)

Money for camp store and mission offering

Bathing suit (girls-tankini or one-piece) *for summer camps only*

Jeans (if horseback riding)

Good shoes, if possible with heel (if horseback riding)
What not to bring

No cell phone (Campers are allowed to call out from the land line when necessary).

No tobacco or vapes

No technical devices (Ipads etc…)

No illegal drugs of any kind (All medications must be checked-in with the camp nurse.)
